McLaughlin v. CSXT -- Offer: 0,
Verdict: $2,331,000.00
There is an old adage among trial lawyers, "settle your losers and try
your winners." The problem is that the other side also knows that
saying, and one side's "loser" is the other side's "winner." The true
test of a dedicated firm is its willingness to go to trial on a
difficult case, one the other side believes is a winner for it, and
still prevail against the odds.

Third Time Is A Charm

railroad. It appears with things that are supposed to protect you
they're said in threes.

Railroad Offers Free Legal Advice To
Injured Employees
Hoey & Farina received a new brochure that a railroad gives its
employees. The brochure's purported purpose is to answer on duty injury
questions. Nowhere in the glossy brochure does the Railroad tell its
employees the truth: Once you are injured, you are a liability, and
minimizing its liability is "only business" to the railroad.
If you have any questions regarding a FELA personal injury matter, please
email us or phone our office toll free at (888)
425-1212. Your questions will be promptly answered with no obligation on your part.
